"Those who do not learn history are destined to repeat it."

I just heard about a special discount being offered to groups and wanted to
share it with like-minded folks in the SNG network as we think about the
state of our international relations:

               Outward Spiral Theatre Company presents
                      In the Heart of America
                        Thursday March 27th
Special SNG group rate: $14 per ticket

A Gritty Gulf War Drama. Oddly enough, it’s a love story. A Kentucky
good-old-boy and an Arab-American stationed in the Saudi desert share a
powerful, unspoken love. As the mystery of one soldier’s disappearance
unfolds, shadows of a Vietnam massacre and a family tragedy haunt the stage
in a compelling struggle between past and present. Naomi Wallace boldly
takes on homophobia in the military, racism, and the allure of war with
political guts and poetic grace.

On March 27th there is a group signing up for tickets that needs a few more
people to go to get the group rate ($14) - would like to offer it to SNG
members to piggyback on that group.

If you're interested, contact my partner Kathy Davis (who is on Outward
Spiral's board) at kdavisny@hotmail.com by Wednesday, March 19th.
