This looks like a good place to start building your own soil.

Subject: [COMGAR-L] the dirty word on compost

It is indeed another compost class.

And it's cheaper than ever.

All those food scraps that have continued to accumulate in a frozen lump in

the backyard, despite your best intentions;

all the food scraps that have been shuttled out with

the trash this winter -- it's time to reclaim this waste-stream as a

source of nutrients for your flower or vegetable garden.

Next wednesday may 16th. 7 pm. at Sundays Energy 2637 27th Ave.

South, Minneapolis, suite 229. Right across the street from the

hexagon bar.

I've attached a flyer. Print it out. cut it in 2. Post it. Or give

one to a friend - if you bring 'em, it entitles you to a $5 discount.

Two hours of nonstop compost action. In the evening, in a brightly

lit, comfortable environment. With a big tarp on the floor. and worms.

And at a local community garden, where we will see ACTUAL COMPOST BINS.

You don't have to compromise your weekday or your weekend in order to

get some practical composting tips, get your questions answered.

And post to any listserves you may be on... Thanks for helping to spread
the dirty word.
